Wow what a busy 2 weeks!

We sure have been busy since our return to school after April Vacation.  The day of our return we visited the Flynn Theatre and saw a wonderful performance of “Mufaro’s Beautiful Daughters”.  Thursday, May 3, Dr. Trabulsy came and talked with us about blood, germs and the immune system.  We learned how important shots were and how our body can fight germs with antibodies.  Fri., May 4th we walked across the street to the district art show to admire all the amazing student artists in Colchester.  We also announced a surprise field trip to Montpelier to view the Governor sign a law recognizing the Abenaki Nation on Monday, May 7th.  Tuesday morning brought 2 more guest speakers, Dr. Bill and Dr. Craig to help us better understand the nervous system.  Today, Fri., May 11th, the Middle School held a Career Fair and a Black Hawk helicopter landed and took off from the field between the two schools.  We capped off our busy two weeks by making beautiful Mother’s Day surprises for our terrific Mom’s.  Our study of the Human Body will continue until the end of May.  Please enjoy the pictures of our busy weeks on the Pretty as a Picture Page.
