Just before our December break, the Rock Stars took part in our Third Grade Potlatch. We are currently studying Native Americans. Each class took 1 region to learn about and shared a food and gift representative of that region. Later this month, small groups from each class will spread out among all 7 third grade classes to teach each other about the region they studied. Our class represented the California Native Americans by sharing berries and greens for our food and necklaces with hand-made recycled paper beads and a sand dollar for our gift.
