Today, we voted on our class name. Having a class name helps to unite us as a community of learners, within the larger MBS community. The children brainstormed names they thought would make a good class name. I put the names onto a Google Form and the children voted. We discussed how important it is to make your own decision and not just vote the way your friend votes. We also discussed how the “winner” of the vote is decided by the most votes or the majority. I am proud to announce that this year we are: the Rayner-Cyr’s Musketeers! Our class is also going to research exactly who the real Musketeers were, including the names of the three famous ones.
