Our wonderful week started off by getting ready for Valentine’s Day. Monday, we made our Valentine’s holders using paper plates and lots of creative ideas. Tuesday, we, of course, celebrated Valentine’s Day by exchanging our cards, playing factor bingo using candy hearts, and eating all those amazing ice cream sundaes! Thanks to those who sent things in for our sundaes. Wednesday was actually our most normal day, when we worked on our fables and learned how to do parentheses in math. Thursday afternoon, we were treated to an excellent musical performance by the Fifth grade band and chorus. Friday was CRAZY HAIR day…believe me there was purple hair, pink hair, silver hair, and lots and lots of ponytails. Look for yearbook pictures and keep your eyes out the teacher picture! An unfortunate undercurrent was our many sick friends…so please get lots of rest this weekend, wash those hands, and drink lots of water so we can have a fabulously fantastic week again, next week-maybe not so crazy!
